- made happy or prosperous; extolled; pronounced happy
PSALM 1:1-2
- What the Bible says and what this world says about how to be happy are totally opposite. Will you believe God or the devil?
HOW TO BE HAPPY

2. Make Jesus your LORD (Psalm 33:12)
3. Fear the Lord (Psalm 112:1; 128:1,4)
4. Live clean (Psalm 119:1-2)
5. Trust the Lord (Psalm 34:8; 84:11-12)
6. Fellowship with God & His people (Psalm 65:4)
7. Be a giver, not a taker (Psalm 41:1)
8. Be judgmental (Psalm 106:3)
9. Know the joyful sound (Psalm 89:15)
10. Allow God to correct you (Psalm 94:12-13)
Dear Brother,
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time, that I can remember ever hearing it said that in order to be Happy we need to be judgmental. While I actually think I "might" get what you are saying here can you expound more? What I think it means is that we are to be in constent judgment of what we are doing, where we are going, what we are saying, how we are talking etc. etc. and judge those things against what the Bible says we are to do! And also, dare I say judging others actions and or beliefs against what the Bible teaches and be willing to let the "difference" be "judged" according to God's Word? Please advise.
Yours In Christ

Yes, that's the basic point. Fence-straddling is not a very comfortable position to maintain for any length of time.
