2 Thessalonians 3:3-5 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you. And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

The greatest enemy in the book is YOU.  Paul did not write to straighten out the antichrist or the unreasonable men.  The book is intended to straighten YOU out.

Deuteronomy 7:9, the faithful God…we strive to be faithful, but God IS faithful
1 Peter 4:19, a faithful Creator…in suffering
Revelation 1:5, the faithful witness (John 8:12-18; 5:30-39)
1 Corinthians 1:9, God is faithful…by whom ye were called
Hebrews 10:23, he is faithful that promised
1 Corinthians 10:13, God is faithful…in temptation
Hebrews 2:17-18, merciful and faithful high priest
1 John 1:9, faithful and just to forgive us our sins
2 Timothy 2:13, if we deny him…he abideth faithful
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24, faithful is he that calleth you (Philippians 1:6)
Revelation 19:11, his name is faithful and true

God is faithful:

(1) to stablish you, v. 3
(2) to sustain you, v. 3
(3) to steer you, v. 5

So place your confidence in him, v. 4

“God had better not be your co-pilot.  You need to give him the controls.”
