2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Is your life bringing glory to God – or something else?
Are you shining for the Lord – or whining to the Lord?
1. The believers’ CONCERN (we pray)
Tell me what you pray about, and I’ll tell you what you care about.
2. The believers COMPANIONS (we pray)
Cf. Matthew 18:19-20
3. The believers’ CONSISTENCY (pray always)
What do you pray for every day?
4. The believers’ CALLING (worthy of this calling)
We are all called. There is one calling, and many facets of that calling. The calling is to bring glory to God Almighty.
